THE BAND

Rocking Your World Since 1990

”I got my cap, got my crap and I’m gonna rap”

Introducing Sock

Originally hailing from Newark on Trent but now scattered all over the country, the band features Guy Lloyd aka Vince Venus, Bruce ‘Buffer’ Lloyd, Alistair Catley aka Chemical Katy , Dominic ‘Unique’ Allan and Gary ‘The Quantum Chav’ Leatherland.

Lead Vocals

Vince Venus

Guy Lloyd AKA Vince Venus is the lead singer in SOCK. And would like it on record that it is not the name of the band down the front of his catsuit. That is 100% British beef. Or a good lump of Tofu (he’s vegan).

Guitar

Dominic Allan

Dom plays guitar and has a thing about tigers. He has been known to eat his own weight in Kellogs Frosties before a show.

Bass Guitar

Bruce Lloyd

Bruce plays bass in SOCK and mainly hides in the shadows on stage, silently growing his beard.

Drums

Gary Leatherland

Gary Leatherland is the newest member of SOCK, playing drums for the band and providing a lovely studio for the band to practice their songs and then forget them when they get on stage.

''The singer looks and sounds like Tony Hadley on Acid''

As you may or may not know, our band has been going on and off (mainly off), for nearly 30 years now and a few years ago, during an ‘off’ period, as we started to talk about a reunion, we very suddenly lost our friend and drummer, Steve Henfrey. At the funeral we got...
